Back in 2018, our founder Kirsten was helping her family's small manufacturing business get their books in order. The existing expense management tools felt like they were designed by people who'd never actually run a business — too complex for daily use, yet somehow missing the features that actually mattered.
That frustration sparked an idea. What if expense categorization could be intuitive? What if businesses could understand their spending patterns without needing an accounting degree? We started vaayacylia to bridge that gap between sophisticated financial tracking and real-world usability.
